Alicia Reece is a co-founder and Creative Director at NEIGHBOR, an animation studio in Minneapolis. Through the years she has shepherded the studio’s growth and helped shape NEIGHBOR’s aesthetic and conceptual voice. In addition to brand work, Alicia has championed the role of visual learning in education. Both TED Ed and Stanford University have partnered with NEIGHBOR under Alicia’s creative direction to develop engaging educational programming. Her eclectic style for Motionpoems’ "Western Civilization" earned both a Vimeo staff pick and Stash selection. Additionally, she is Producer and Co-host of SWIM –Strong Women in Motion – an online community and podcast that celebrates talented female creatives in the motion design and animation industry. She is also a founding member of Nice Moves, a community of artists working in and around Minnesota.
