Project Description

"Oh, the Places" is a visual interpretation of the original poem, "Oh, the Places You'll Go" by Dr. Suess. In my retelling of the poem, a hiker captures her experience, traveling through the mountains and forest to discover something beautiful. An exploration of the idea of "journey" through life, using a hike as a metaphor. I also took a "Cinema of Attractions" approach, rather than constructing a linear narrative to my film. I wanted to explore camera movement and the translation of 2D shapes into a 3D place.
