Ryan is a Creative Director at Gretel, a creative and brand studio in New York. His expertise lies in finding clear, thoughtful and striking solutions to the complex problems of modern branding. Ryan leads strategy, identity and design initiatives for a variety of clients in the media, digital, retail and cultural spaces. Clients include Netflix, VICE, National Geographic, The New York Times, IFC, and MoMA.
Ryan’s work has been recognized by the D&AD, the Art Directors Club, the Type Directors Club, and the Fast Company Innovation by Design Awards. His work has been featured in Wired, Creative Review, It’s Nice That, Motionographer and Brand New. Ryan also taught Motion Graphics Portfolio, a studio for graduating seniors at the School of Visual Arts for several years.
