Brian Mah is a co-founder and Creative Director of Alma Mater, a Los Angeles based live action and motion design studio.
With a passion for design and cinematography, Brian has directed a wide variety of projects over the course of his 15-year career. In addition to his breadth of commercial work for clients such as Nike, Ford, Google, Coca-Cola, Patron, Ram, and American Express, he has helmed broadcast packages, promos and titles for networks including USA, National Geographic, Discovery, Spike TV, Fox, and Amazon. In the film world, he has designed main titles and feature marketing projects for studios such as Sony, Universal, Disney, Paramount and Warner Bros. He has also collaborated directly with clients such as Gehry & Partners, The Los Angeles County Museum of Art, and has lectured across the United States. His work has been honored in many international publications and awards.
